WCCHA Literary Magazine Competition

Each year WCCHA recognizes excellence in student literary/art magazines published by Washington Community Colleges. We give two awards: magazines with budgets up to $5,000 and magazines with budgets over $5,000.

  • Deadline for the 2019 contest is June 30th, 2019. You can send either your 2018 or your 2019 issue (please don’t send both).
  • Mail two copies of your magazine to last year’s winner:
    • Elizabeth Donley and Kathrena Halsinger
    • Clark College English Department

  • Include the 2019 submission questionnaire form (below). This form is required with your submission.
  • Winners will be announced by October 30th, 2019.

Note: Each year the winner of last year’s “big” budget magazine serves as the juror for the next year’s contest (and does not submit their magazine for consideration for one year).
